MLDs: A “shared well” is not “urban water.”

A few examples of MLD applications applying to be under allowable density by claiming “shared well” as “urban water.” (One recently submitted).

The MLD application that started it all: Director Gabell files for an MLD using the “shared well” as “urban water” scheme.

The neighbors full MTR disputing Director Gabell’s MLD application.

Director Gabell email stating IDEQ considers a shared well a “privately maintained water supply and distribution system.” (Spoiler alert: They do not.)

MLD application: Provides box to check “Community System” but no definition for Urban Water or Community System in BCRC.
